The Last 10 Days Of Life; December 26th: Highlight A Cause

The cause i’ve chosen to highlight is the cause of humanity; the lack of it, the need for it, the description of it.

When i talk about humanity, i’m talking about people, humane human beings, people who don’t question every freakin’ moral thing you say to them, but rather people who embrace those things. These are people who don’t mind helping you out; these are people who understand that the pain in their hearts isn’t because of some stupid boyfriend or girlfriend that they have or not, but because they just saw someone in dire need, a child dying on tv, a helpless family, or just someone very very close to them.

Being kind, good, understanding and tolerant isn’t following a faith or being a goody-two-shoes or whatever, its being someone, not just no one, but someone, because every time you help someone, that someone will remember it, in a big or small way, and hence you’ve contributed to that someones life, and touched someone in a way no fame or fortune can’t.

BEING A HUMAN BEING IS A TITLE WE MUST EARN BY BEING HUMANE BEINGS

The Last 10 Days Of Life; December 23rd: Be Thankful For Something/Someone

teenageodyssey:

Its cliche, but its the truth; i’m grateful to have my parents. I know we’re not perfect, and the schizophrenia and alcoholism drives me to the point of contemplating suicide sometimes, but they’re all i have, and they’ve given up so much for me, worked so hard just to have me, and they’ve never said no to me.

THANK YOU GOD for the family i have, for the comfort we’ve been provided, for the blessings we’ve been given, and the struggles we’ve survived and will continue to survive. THANK YOU GOD for giving me such a fine strong woman for a mother, and such true-to-the-bone real man for a father. I may not have siblings, or even friends, but at least i have a family, and as i grow, i’ve found a lot of people don’t have that; a lot of people don’t have love.

Leave it to me to stay online all day, then turn off my lappie, then finally remember that the reason i turned on my lappie and net was to update you all on my Last 10 Days of Life challenge. Soo…here i am, back online X_x Long story…so lets just get to the point:

Dec 20: hug someone till the 31st

What i did/am going to do: Hug my mum…i don’t hug my mum enough

Dec. 21st: Make A meal for your mama/baba

What i did: I made aloo-mutter, or potato-peas, (pictured above) :D

Dec. 22nd: Share A Funny memory

What i’m going to share: Hmm…this is hard, but i’ll go with this: A very, very, very very close relation and friend had left drinking at that time. He was at his mechanics, when he told him: “You know, in a few days it’ll be 1 year since i’ve stopped drinking”, to which the mechanic replied: “Well don’t start celebrating!” HAHAHAHAHA!

Well, thats it i suppose. If any of you are participating in this challenge, hows it going? :)

OK Guys! Tomorrows the day, the day when the Last 10 Days Of Life challenge begins! I hope to do a good job on it, and i’ll update you all about my experience soon enough. Thank you all for participating and reblogging, and a big thank you to http://Iloveyourdoodles.tumblr.com for helping me to promote the idea :) Good luck and Panda XxX’s <3
